Aaron Rousseau is a founding partner of Rousseau Mazzuca LLP. Aaron focuses on employment law and workplace advocacy.
In the early years of his career, Aaron worked at a large Bay Street law firm. He later worked for several years at a leading specialized employment law firm.
When advocacy is needed, Aaron is relentless. He has appeared at every level of court in Ontario, from the Small Claims Court up to the Ontario Court of Appeal. He also appears before the Canadian Human Rights Commission, the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Ontario Ministry of Labour, and Employment and Social Development Canada.
Precisely because Aaron’s opponents know that he is willing and able to go to court and win, he often achieves quicker negotiated resolutions for his clients.
Never one to back away from an argument, Aaron won both the National and the North American debating championships when he was in university.
Outside of work, Aaron enjoys traveling (including to the Canadian Arctic), mountain-climbing, and practising the martial art of Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
I work with a lot of law firms in the core. I’ve seen Rousseau Mazzuca grow from a few competent and friendly people to the diverse firm that they are now. Every addition to their team has added uniquely talented people that are both professional and friendly. Rousseau Mazzuca persistently challenges themselves to be better and it shows.
Very easy to speak with, very supportive and professional in handling my concerns. Definitely would recommend to my friends and family.
